Firehouse Ministries invited the community to an unforgettable evening of celebration, generosity, and impact at the annual Firehouse of Hope Gala, held at the stunning Grand Bohemian Hotel in Mountain Brook on Thursday, October 9th.
This year, they proudly honored the Holy Trinity + Holy Cross Greek Orthodox Cathedral for their steadfast dedication to serving Birmingham’s homeless population. Their compassion and commitment have made a lasting difference in the lives of countless individuals. Live music by String Theory set the tone for an elegant evening filled with purpose. Guests enjoyed a high-energy live auction hosted by Granger Auctions, featuring once-in-a-lifetime experiences.
All proceeds directly support Firehouse Ministries, including its medical respite care program—the only one of its kind in Alabama—providing a safe, dignified space for homeless men recovering from illness or injury. Firehouse Ministries operates 365 days a year, serving 200-250 men nightly through its emergency shelter and comprehensive housing programs.
