We are nearing the halfway point of January 2023 and it’s been a great start to the new year in Birmingham. The impressive collection of concerts, sporting events, and charitable opportunities continues this week. There is truly something for fans of every form of entertainment over the next 7 days. Some of the best local acts are playing stages throughout the city as major events come into town to amplify the fun even more! Here are some of the events we are looking forward to the most.

WWE Monday Night Raw at the Legacy Arena (Monday)

One of the biggest events in wrestling will be in the Magic City this Monday night at the Legacy Arena. WWE’s Monday Night Raw series has been entertaining fans for decades with fights between industry titans, escalating rivalries, and a whole lot of body slams.

Rojo Night: SWEET Alabama (Tuesday)

Good food, tasty drinks, and colorful decor are a few of the reasons that Rojo is so popular in Birmingham, but it’s the restaurant’s dedication to supporting the community around it that has made it impossible not to love it. One of Rojo’s ways of giving back is their Tuesday donation series, which sees 10% of proceeds from the day benefitting an Alabama nonprofit. This week's event goes to the important cause at SWEET Alabama.

Billy Allen + The Pollies w/ The Ladies Of… at The Upstairs at Avondale (Friday)

Avondale Brewing has become a concert powerhouse in the city of Birmingham. The large outdoor space is hosting some of the biggest acts across the nation, while The Upstairs at Avondale venue showcases some of the fastest rising (and best sounding) musicians. We’d highly recommend checking out the Billy Allen + The Pollies show with The Ladies Of… on Friday night to see the magic happening in this part of town.

The Iron City Grill is bringing another fantastic Birmingham act to the spotlight this Friday night, as Zach Austin and the Lonesome return to bring more beautiful tunes to our fair city. This event series has been a fun one that really uplifts the local scene and we encourage all to check it out.
