Birmingham may be in our Golden Age of Concerts! Every venue in the city is bringing in some of the hottest acts in the country. Show announcements featuring our favorite bands are coming in at breathtaking speeds, and people all around the Greater Birmingham Metro are showing their thanks by having great nights listening to some of the best bands and funniest musicians you can find anywhere. February is another impressive month. Here are some of the shows we are most looking forward to.
America: Live in Concert at The Alabama Theatre (Thursday, February 2nd)
Right not start your month with some classic tunes? America will be coming to the historical Alabama Theatre on Thursday, February 2nd, for a night that is sure to make you feel like “You Can Do Magic”! This is going to be a fun show in a beautiful setting.
Star Party Presents Sam Tallent featuring Nathan Lund at Saturn (Thursday, February 2nd)
Chris Ivey and Wes Van Horn have been separately bringing some of the Magic City’s best comedy nights to Birmingham over the last few years. This not only brings national acts that wouldn’t have otherwise visited the Magic City to local venues - it elevates the Bham comedy scene in the process. They are now coming together with talented videographer Darrell Nance to bring the “Star Party” series to Saturn. The first event is on Thursday, February 2nd, and stars Sam Tallent and Nathan Lund. Support this series!
Katt Williams 2023 & Me Tour at Legacy Arena (Friday, February 3rd)
One of the funniest people on the planet will be in Birmingham this week! Katt Williams will be performing at the Legacy Arena on Friday, February 3rd, for what is sure to be one of the funniest evenings of a lifetime for those who attend. From his hilarious standup routines to scene-stealing movie roles, Williams has the resume to guarantee a good show.
Rockeros con Onda Presents Des Enamorados at Saturn (Saturday, February 4th)
Latinos con Onda has been bringing dance parties to the Magic City for a while now. The party starters are now ready to rock out with the Rockeros con Onda event at Saturn on Saturday, February 4th! Birmingham rock favorites Eter 4 will be joined by TULUM, DJ EMMOX, and MMLN SLCTR for a very fun evening.
Nowhere Squares and Wax Fur at Saturn (Thursday, February 9th)
Two of the finest bands in Birmingham are joining forces to play a free show at Saturn on Thursday, February 9th! Nowhere Squares and Wax Fur are always down to start a good time, making this a show you don’t want to miss out on.
Shrek Rave at Zydeco (Friday, February 10th)
The moon landing. The Kick Six (sorry Bama fans). The Shrek Rave at Zydeco. Some events are just bigger than others and Birmingham has the opportunity to participate in a monumental moment on Friday, February 10th.
Silversun Pickups with Paris Jackson at Iron City (Friday, February 17th)
The Silversun Pickups are an iconic band and seeing them live at Iron City with Paris Jackson on Friday, February 17th, is going to be a can’t-miss concert in the Magic City. Get your dancing shoes on and prepare to have a wonderful night of amazing tunes.
Legendz of the Streetz Reloaded Tour at Legacy Arena (Saturday, February 18th)

It is truly going to be a night full of hip-hop legends at the Legacy Arena on Saturday, February 18th. You should be there.
La Chat with Joyboy, Forced Neglect, Carlisle Jones & Saygo, and Big Brizzy at Saturn (Sunday, February 19th)
Memphis has been rightfully getting its recognition in hip-hop, with women leading the way. Past and present musicians have paved a path to success in the nearby city and it’s been exciting to watch. La Chat has been a crucial part of this story and will be coming to Saturn on Sunday, February 19th. Joyboy, Forced Neglect, Carlisle Jones & SAYGO!, and Big Brizzy will all be performing as well.
Colony House at Iron City (Friday, February 24th)
Iron City is helping us close out an incredible month of live music with yet another stellar show on Friday, February 24th. Colony House is touring in support of their new album, The Cannonballers, and is sure to put on a fun show.
