Guest enjoyed an evening at this uniquely fabulous event where guests got to pair their fancy attire with their favorite boots to join others in supporting Special Equestrians.
The mission of SE is to enrich the lives of people with physical, cognitive, or emotional challenges through a relationship with a horse. On the back of a horse, children and adults with special needs find freedom that their bodies can often deny them. Riding benefits include improved balance coordination, strength, courage, and self-esteem - building the foundation for even greater success in their everyday lives.
The event included a cocktail hour with silent auction and wine (and bourbon) pull in the beautifully appointed stables at Winwood Equestrian. Exquisite horses oversaw the festively dressed guests and there was a riding demonstration on the grounds by Special Equestrians students. Dinner and live auction were held under the stars in the courtyard nestled between the stone fountain and fireplace. Guests danced to Daniel Bowden.
