Alabama Theater Summer Film Series

Alabama Theatre
This summer the Alabama Theatre is back up and running with their Summer Film Series great for all ages! These films are fun for the whole family and make for a wonderful opportunity to visit the historically famous Alabama Theatre! The story of a Southern woman who struggles to find her identity after suffering abuse from her father and others for over four decades. This film is a heart throbber and will bring resilience to any person who takes the time to watch it!
- The Wizard of Oz - July 25 (2p.m.)
A classic known by all generations! This film follows Dorothy Gale as she is swept away into a magical land of Oz and embarks on a quest with her new friends, and Toto of course, to see the Wizard who can help her return to her home in Kansas.
Sphere Audio Video Grand Opening

Cahaba Park Circle
Sphere Audio Video will be holding the Grand Opening of their new store at 504 Cahaba Park Circle, Birmingham, AL. Drinks alongside Hors d’oeuvres will be served to guests and vendors will be in attendance to answer questions about smart homes and the products which keep them protected. Guests can enter a drawing for a 50’ Sony TV plus installation as well as other goodies! Birmingham Botanical Gardens
Here is yet another movie to add to the list of films being shown in Birmingham this week! On Wednesday July 28, the friends of Birmingham Botanical Gardens Junior Board will be hosting the movie Grease for all to see at Birmingham’s Botanical Gardens! Admission will be free, however a $5 donation is suggested to all guests, and the movie will begin around 8:15p.m. with gates opening at 6p.m. There will be a 50’s themed costume contest and refreshments will be made available for purchase. Guests are asked to bring a blanket or lawn chair to enjoy the movie comfortably. For more information click here!
