Spring has sprung in Alabama and one of the most beautiful sights is just a short drive from Birmingham. The grounds of American Village in Montevallo are filled with colorful blooms for the 5th Annual Festival of Tulips, providing a spectacular vista for a lovely stroll and incredible backgrounds for photo sessions.

The seasonal outdoor event opened to the public on March 10, 2021. It is open Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sunday from noon to 4 p.m. while flowers are in bloom and weather permitting.

Admission is $5 per person, with veterans and children under 5 free.

Guests may purchase tulip blooms and bulbs for $1.50 each (plus tax) with contactless credit card payment only. Guests are asked to wear masks and maintain social distancing.

American Village is located at 3727 Hwy. 119 in Montevallo.
