We feel confident affirming that Birmingham-based non-profits have planned, replanned, postponed, rescheduled, canceled, reinvented, and reimagined more events this year than any year before. Due to the challenges of social distancing, avoiding groups and in-person interactions, coordinators have turned to innovative new ways of connecting people and supporting causes. Many of the annual runs, parties, auctions and sales that have become establishments in the local social scene are not canceled, but they are taking new shapes over the coming weeks.
