A Czech proverb says, ‘a good neighbor increases the value of your property’ and that could not be more correct. However, what can we do when our neighbors are not the ones we’ve always dreamed of? How could we punish their most annoying habits? In an ideal world, we’d be able to fine them! Just like Frank Lampard does with his players at Chelsea.

With that in mind, the experts at Saveonenergy.com/uk were curious to find out which bad habits people think their neighbors should be fined for, and how much they would fine them for each ‘offense’ if they could.

Some of the findings include:

  • 81% of people would fine their neighbors for parking in front of their drive – and they would charge them $45 for it!
  • 72% of people would fine their neighbors for not obeying social distancing rules.
  • You’d be fined $7 for having sex too loudly or sunbathing almost naked if your neighbors could fine you for it.
  • 66% of people said they would donate “fine” money, while 52% said they would use it to buy a new house!
