Market Noel is back in person!

One of Birmingham’s favorite holiday traditions returns in person from November 17-20 at The Finley Center, and, as always, is put on by the Junior League of Birmingham. This year’s event’s presenting sponsor is Regions Bank, and customers can shop from more than 80 stores from across the nation all in one place – with high-quality items like home décor, clothing, jewelry, toys, and more at the ready.

“We are thrilled to host Market Noel in person again at The Finley Center this year and encourage everyone to shop the magic and support the community,” said JLB Market Noel Chair Malinda Shackelford. “Market Noel provides a great opportunity to get in the holiday spirit, shop from top-notch vendors, and get your presents early, all while benefiting the Junior League of Birmingham’s 30 community projects.”

General admission tickets are $15; you can purchase yours here. And, in addition to Market Noel shopping, attendees can take part in several events surrounding Market Noel, including:

Preview Noel, Wednesday, November 17, 7-10 p.m.

Attendees will get a sneak peek into this year’s Market Noel, where they can enjoy an evening of private shopping and fun activities. Expect entertainment, heavy hors d’oeuvres, and the event’s annual Diamond Drop, valued at $5,000 and sponsored by Diamonds Direct. The first 250 attendees will receive a signature swag bag; tickets are $55 and include a Market Noel general admission ticket.

First Responders Lunch, Thursday, November 18, 11 a.m. – 1 p.m.

For the first time, the Junior League of Birmingham will host this event in front of The Finley Center, aiming to honor first responders in the community like police officers, firefighters, paramedics, doctors, nurses, and other essential workers. The 100 meals will be provided on a first come, first serve basis.

JLB Hearts Birmingham, Thursday, November 18, 5-8 p.m.

This event – included with the purchase of a general admission shopping ticket – is all about family, community, school pride, and Birmingham. Expect light bites, performances from local area high schools, fun tailgating games, and a Teacher’s Lounge to honor teachers and faculty. Attendees are encouraged to bring an unopened toy for the Junior League of Birmingham’s toy drive for the YWCA.

Jingle and Flamingle, Friday, November 19, 6-9 p.m.

For this event, enjoy a fun night out with friends, dancing the night away. Tickets are $36 and include light bites and a signature cocktail by Queen’s Park. An after party – dubbed The Struggle Bus – will take place at Big Whiskey until 11 p.m.

Brunch with the Big Guy, Saturday, November 20, 9 a.m. and 11:30 a.m.

Santa Claus is here! Bring the kids for brunch, holiday activities for the kids, and a picture with Santa. (Adults can enjoy mimosas.) Santa will also read The Polar Express to attendees. Tickets are $28 for adults, and $12 for kids.

Milk and Cookies, Saturday, November 20, 2-3 p.m.

Santa’s dessert for the day will come from this event, where, for $35, two adults and two children will gain general admission to shopping and get a picture and a visit with Santa, along with milk and cookies to enjoy.

The Elf Made Me Do It Kits

These popular kits – sold in 24-day and seven-day increments – provide everything parents (and the elf!) need for a very merry holiday season. These specially curated kits include letters, props, activities, instructions, materials, and photo guides for each night’s shenanigans. The 24-day kit is $100, and the seven-day kit is $40 – elf not included.

“Market Noel is a favorite holiday event in Birmingham each year, and we’re grateful for this year more than ever,” said JLB President Amy Jackson. “It’s incredibly special to recognize that with each event ticket sold, we’re making a difference for those in need in our community.”
