Jessica Kirk Drennan
President/Shareholder
One-three words that describes you:
Dedicated, Passionate and Hardworking
What lead you to your current profession:
At my first job out of law school, I was assigned all family law cases in the firm—mainly because the partners didn’t like that type of work. I had never thought about doing divorce; however, I fell in love with the people and the work and never looked back.
How do you balance work & life:
Not my forte. I do my best to preserve evenings after 7 and weekends, but no promises.
Why are you optimistic about 2021:
There are so many reasons. My family has their health; my business is going strong; my employees are dedicated and loyal; my community is inspiring.
Tell us about your company's commitment to our community:
Tell us about your company’s commitment to our community: At Kirk Drennan we believe in giving back by supporting and helping others in our community. We do that by volunteering our personal time; donating to charitable causes and participating in community education in our field. We post educational articles on Kirk Drennan’s Facebook page and I volunteer at a weekend workshop that educates women going through divorce about their emotional, financial and legal needs, Second Saturday. The lawyers at the firm also do pro bono work by representing economically challenged citizens of Jefferson County as well as surrounding counties.
