Ugly Baby Prequels You! (Wednesday)
Ugly Baby is the comedy standard when it comes to improv in Birmingham. The quick-thinking jokesters will be bringing their show to The Upstairs at Avondale on Wednesday evening, which makes for a great mid-week break for the people of Birmingham. Patrons are welcome to bring food to go along with the Avondale beers.

Alanis Morissette is one of the highest selling musicians of all time, and her arrival in Birmingham this Friday is sure to be a celebration of the singer-songwriter's impressive and relatable catalog. This show at Oak Mountain Amphitheatre will be one of the biggest in the greater metro area this year.
Thundercat at Iron City (Friday)
Thundercat has made himself a household name by dropping his own hits while working with collaborators in a variety of genres. The talented musician just finished a tour with Red Hot Chili Peppers and The Strokes, but is still traveling strong with this stop in Iron City on Friday night. Local favorite Andrea Really is opening to add to the excitement.
