Getting engaged is one of the most exciting times in a woman’s life, followed closely by one of the most stressful periods if you don’t have a good support team in place.

*If your wedding budget allows for it, we highly recommend hiring a top-notch planner. The planner will not only help you make various decisions on who to hire for your big day – but also when. One of the first appointments they will guide you to is your wedding day makeup. During high wedding season the best makeup artists book out months in advance.*

*We suggest as soon as you’ve chosen your date – contact the artist for availability. You’ll want to talk with your artist in detail about your vision of the big day. Discuss your inspiration, the gown, the location – and most importantly – schedule your makeup run through. This is where the bride and the makeup artist really develop a rapport and ultimately decide your look. A great artist is not only going to achieve your wedding day makeup – she’s going to help you perfect your palette – your skin. Brides should begin preparing their skin months in advance of the wedding day. Makeup only looks as good as the skin it is on. You want to enhance the beauty you already have, not conceal and cover imperfections.*###

1. GET A SKINCARE REGIMEN.

This is #1 for a reason. You don’t want angry, irritated skin on your wedding day. Your wedding pictures are meant to last a lifetime – get your skin ready!! Know the ingredients in your products. Find products that will nourish your skin - and steps you are willing to keep up with daily – even post wedding day.  Your skin should look great for the rest of your life!

2. CLEAN YOUR PLATE.

No, not the saying eat everything on it – eat cleanly.  Avoid grease, high fat foods and indulging in sugars.  Add Inner Beauty products to your diet.  Collagen, probiotic and antioxidant supplements help keep the gut clean – and your skin glowing. The difference you will see in your skin by cleaning up your food choices and adding supplements is amazing – and as an added bonus you’ll feel better and have more energy for all of the pre-wedding events!

3. WEAR SPF.

Repeat WEAR SPF. Sunny days, cloudy days, warm and cold days. If we sound like we’re preaching it’s because we are! A sun-kissed look is simple for a talented makeup artist. Covering sun damage and repairing dry/rough skin is a challenge for anyone.

4. DRINK YOUR WATER.

We can hydrate our skin repeatedly from the outside, but taking water in is the key to a great wedding glow.
