Wooden City is open Tuesday through Thursday from 5 PM to 9 PM and Friday and Saturday from 5 to 10 PM.
2. Armour House
Situated in the historic Armour & Co. building at 2309 1st Ave N, Suite 201, Armour House is a sophisticated neighborhood brasserie and raw bar. The restaurant offers a menu that blends classic and contemporary dishes, focusing on fresh, locally sourced ingredients. The elegant yet inviting atmosphere makes it a perfect spot for both casual dinners and special occasions. Everyone has been raving about this recent addition since their opening late last year, so it a must try for Birmingham locals.
3. Rêve
For an elevated dining experience, Rêve offers Birmingham's first tasting menu restaurant under the guidance of Chef Jacob M. Stull. This modern French dining experience provides a reimagined culinary journey with its seasonal multi-course tasting menu. Dishes like coq au vin and crabe du nord highlight Rêve's focus on French culinary traditions. Rêve is located in downtown Birmingham and will be opening in early 2025.
