The 2025 Birmingham Area High Schedule features many traditional rivalries like Homewood at Mountain Brook on September 26, Thompson at Hoover on October 17, and Briarwood at John Carroll on October 10. Last year’s 7A state champion Thompson hosts Carver Montgomery in week one.

The 2025 SEC schedule will be the second year the conference has welcomed Oklahoma and Texas. The Sooners went 2-6 in conference. Texas lost to Georgia in the SEC Championship game. All conference teams will play the same teams they played last year, but switch the home and aways.

Week one includes some good out of conference games including Texas at Ohio State, Alabama plays Florida State, LSU plays Clemson, and Tennessee plays Syracuse.

The first SEC game is in week 2 on September 6, when Ole Miss goes to Lexington to play the Kentucky Wildcats.
